WHO WE ARE
Uncover Your Essence (UYE) is a Nova Scotia-based nonprofit organisation dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities to confidently embrace their identity, uncover their potential, and lead with purpose.
We create culturally relevant spaces and programs that support personal growth, self-love, and leadership development, with a strong focus on BIPOC youth who are often underrepresented in leadership, arts, and STEM pathways.
Through year-round initiatives and community partnerships, UYE provides transformative learning experiences that help young people build confidence, explore possibilities, and see themselves reflected in the futures they are shaping.

UYE CONFERENCE
Uncover Your Essence is dedicated to inspiring youth aged 13-18 through dynamic conferences and workshops. Our annual event co-hosted by Business is Jammin’ and Natural Butter Bar features expert speakers, engaging activities in health, enterpreneurship, STEM, arts, justice, apprenticeship, fostering growth, connection, and the full potential of young minds.
